Gyula Hincz painter, graphic and applied art artist. He was born in Budapest on 17th May 1904. He graduated at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in 1929. His masters were Gyula Rudnay, János Vaszary. With scholarship he went to Berlin, Paris, Korea, China, Vietnam, Transylvania. He took part in groupal exhibitions in Gratz, Prague, Berlin, Helsinki, Belgrad, London, Essen, Bologna, Venice.He had solo exhibitions in Budapest at the Tamás Gallery, at the Ernst Museum, at the Petőfi Literatural Museum and at the Hungarian National Gallery, and in Paris.
Many of his works are shown in own-and public collections, and in public buildings. In 1958 he got the Kossuth.price. Since 1964 he is an "érdemes" artist. He died on 6th January. In his career next to the european fashion waves the urban, and the asiaian and south american artists works made great influence on him.
